Our EV-X Fire Fighting System is a one-stop solution for handling EV-fires in any space where cars are packed tightly.
The EV-X system is a kit of tools to fight the fire and encapsulate the vehicle allowing full submersion of the vehicle battery.
EV-X is specially designed for ferries, parking garages, tunnels and ocean-going car carriers, where space is tight.

A watermist lance used to fight flames with fine watermist, and then penetrate the EV battery to inject water.

The patent pending EV-X barrier, encapsulates the whole vehicle, and is flooded with water to completely submerge the battery

The stackable 3-bag pneumatic lifting bags provide stable and rapid lifting power and make the barrier installation possible

We have developed our own ratchet straps to ensure easy and quick installation of the barrier.

Save on your insurance premium by investing in increased safety onboard your vessel

EV-X completely eliminates the risk of reignition, making it safe for passengers to drive their vehicles off the vehicle deck. The burned EV can then be transported ashore while still submerged inside the barrier.

EV fires emit toxic HF-gasses, that causes burn injuries to exposed skin and airways. Once an EV is submerged, the water absorbs the soluble HF-gasses, keeping people safe.

EV fires can require cooling for up to 24 hours and even then the EV might still reignite while being transported away from the scene. EV-X handles EV fires in 2-3 hours and eliminates risk of reignition

The EV-X barrier is more compact and a smaller investment than a steel container for electric vehicles

EV fires require up to 90.000 liters to extinguish. The EV-X barrier wraps tightly around the vehicle, and needs only 4.000 liters to fully submerge the EV battery (dependent on car size)
Our EV-X system has been independently tested by the The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology (DBI).
DBI is Denmark´s leading knowledge center in the field of fire safety and security and is well recognized internationally.
The testing was performed in a simulated ferry environment, in which a Fisker Ocean EV was put into thermal runaway and extinguished using our system.
The EV was surrounded by other cars, with only 20-40 cm of space between the EV and surrounding vehicles.
The tests proved that the EV-X system is fully operational, safe, and efficient in a worst case scenario.
